Guest Communication messages are sent to unintended recipients. What to do?

If it is about Airbnb, Booking.com, Vrbo or Expedia

When exchanging messages via Guest Communication chat or Guest Communication API, only two main recipients are created - host and guest. It is not possible to add more recipients manually. If you can see more recipients in the thread, please contact the Rentals United Support Team.

 

If it is about other channels

This case is related to messages exchanged via email where adding new recipients is easy. Bear in mind that Guest Communication messages are sent to all the recipients added to a conversation. Whether it is another receiver or an email address defined in the CC - once the recipient is added to the conversation, he or she will receive the message. If you are exchanging messages with your guests via email, make sure to remove any unwanted recipients from the message.

Also, bear in mind that once another recipient is added to the conversation, he or she will receive all the exchanged messages. If you want to remove this recipient from the conversation, contact the Rentals United Support Team.
