Photos are synchronized from PMS to Rentals United as part of the static data synchronization. Note that majority of Sales Channels have specific requirements with regard to the property photos. Please, refer to the Channel Integrations.
Also, read the below rules carefully:

Photos are synchronized from both "property" and "spaceCategories" fields.

Only photos labeled as “type : 2” are retrieved from MEWS.

All retrieved photos are labeled as interior in Rentals United.

The first photo returned from MEWS in "spaceCategories" is set as the main photo in Rentals United. The remaining photos come in an undefined order.

Photo captions are not synchronized.
